Partant de photographies révélant les traces plastiques laissées par les hommes, j’organise une abstraction colorée sur des images trop connues. Les matières utilisées, résine, encre, calque, aluminium, sont enfermées sous un plexiglas qui vient renforcer l’idée de l’écran ou de la fenêtre. Ces empreintes organiques rappelant les couleurs d’une nature indomptée, créent un filtre trouble sur ce qu’on ne veut pas voir. Ce travail m’invite à explorer d’autres formes de représentation dans l’espace et exploiter aussi d’autres matériaux.

Starting out with photographs revealing plastic traces left by men, I compose colourful abstractions onto all-too familiar images. Resin, ink, overlays, aluminium are encased under Plexiglas sheets, increasing the impression of facing a screen or a window. Thèse organic traces, bringing to mind the colours of untamed nature, create a blurry lter over what we do not want to see.

This approach is an invitation to explore different ways of representation and also to avail myself of other techniques.
